ShoppersLotto.Com Sweepstakes 7 Ball Game Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE ONE’S CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES WHO ARE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. ENTRIES ORIGINATING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE 50 UNITED STATES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. VOID OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND WHERE OTHERWISE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Eligibility/Entries. The ShoppersLotto Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of 50 United States who are 21 or older as of date of entry and who are or become ShoppersLotto members. Proof of age and legal U.S. residency may be required. Void outside of the United States and where prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors of Shoppers Lotto Inc. d/b/a/ ShoppersLotto, its licensees, partners, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, and directors are not eligible to enter. Shopperslotto Experts are also ineligible. Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the United States and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are void. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
2. Sweepstakes Start/End. The Shopperslotto.com Sweepstakes (the "$5,000 drawing") begins at 12:00 a.m. EST on June1st 2009 will run until 11:59 p.m. on May 31 th 2010. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by ShoppersLotto ("Sponsor"). All entries must be made by midnight EST of the day prior to the drawing. All winning numbers must be in exact order of posted winning numbers.
3. How to Enter. Sweepstakes participants must be Shopperslotto members. There is no charge to become a ShoppersLotto member. To become a member, visit www.ShoppersLotto.com click on the “Become a Member” link and complete the online registration form and click the "submit" button.
(a) Register with ShoppersLotto.com. Participants will earn one (1) credit when they register as a member at www.ShoppersLotto.com in the manner described above. Limit one (1) credit per registration. Limit one (1) registration per person.
(b) By Mail. Player must have valid ShoppersLotto account in order to earn credits by mail. Submit a 3x5 postcard marked “Credit” with your name, address, daytime phone number and user name to ShoppersLotto, 2 Lakeview Avenue, Suite 310 . Piscataway, NJ 08854. No Purchase Necessary. One credit per postcard. Limit ten (10) postcards per person per day. Participants must establish an account in the manner described above before receiving credits by mail.
(c) Take a Poll. Earn one (1) credit per poll completed when you visit www.Shopperslotto.com and take any one of the designated polls. Limit one (1) credit per poll through this method. This method of entry will not be available at all times. Play is limited to ten (10) credits per day.
(d) Purchase Items on-line at ShoppersLotto.com\on-line vendors. Earn credits by purchasing items through ShoppersLotto. The number of credits earned is determined by the value of items purchased. Play is limited to ten (10) credits per day. Participants shall forfeit the right to any credits earned pursuant to this paragraph for items that are later returned to the place of purchase by said participant.
(e) Purchase Items at local vendors. Participants will earn credits for each item purchased at local vendors depending on the value of item purchased. Participants will receive game cards based on the value of items purchased at participating local vendors. Each game card is equal to one credit. To add credits, log on to www.ShoppersLotto.com, log on, to your account.” Scratch off the area at the bottom of the game card and enter the numbers listed under the scratch-off area. and click “Submit.” Participants may also submit game cards by mail with their name, address, daytime telephone number, and ShoppersLotto account number to ShoppersLotto, 2 Lakeview Avenue, Suite 310 . Piscataway, NJ 08854. Credits will be entered into members’ accounts. Play is limited to ten (10) credits per day. Participants shall forfeit the right to any credits earned pursuant to this paragraph for items that are later returned to the place of purchase by said participant.
All Internet participants must have a valid email address. No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Delivery of prizes requires a street address (no P.O. Boxes). Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entries are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.
Participants may bank earned credits over time and may divide said credits for use in any of the drawings within the time limitations otherwise set forth herein.

4. Random Drawing/Odds. A total of one (1) drawing will be held monthly for each month of the Sweepstakes. There is only one (1) prize available to be won per drawing, And two (2) prizes over the life of the sweepstakes. Odds of an entry being identical to its Prize Determination Number are approximately (1 in 10,000,000). Ball drawing using ten (10) numbered balls ranging from zero (0) through nine (9).Numbers must match in exact order.
5 . Prizes . UNCLAIMED PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED. Prize(s) will only be awarded upon winner validation and verification. Decisions of judges are final. Taxes, fees or other charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner(s). By accepting a prize, winner(s) release and discharge Sponsor, its affiliated companies, participating sponsors, information providers, content providers, subsidiaries, advertisers, advertising agencies, promotional and marketing agencies, and any other companies involved with or otherwise providing services related to this Promotion, and all their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from any liability or damage due in whole or in part to the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or from participation in this Promotion.
Prizes are non-transferable and are subject to change. No substitutions or cash redemptions will be permitted. In the event that any prize is unavailable, ShoppersLotto reserves the right to substitute such prize with one of equal or greater value.
6. Notification/Prize Acceptance. Winners will be notified by telephone, mail or email and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release when requested. If any winner is considered a minor in the jurisdiction of residence, the prize will be delivered to his/her parent/legal guardian and awarded in the name of such parent/legal guardian and the Liability/Publicity Release must be signed by his/her parent or legal guardian. If any winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) calendar days of first notification attempt, if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if any winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, such prize will be forfeited. No compensation will be given if prize is forfeited or member disqualified for any reason.
7. Taxes. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
8. Limitation on Sponsor Liability. Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict of laws principles, with venue in Ocean County, New Jersey and all claims must be resolved in the courts of Ocean County, New Jersey. By participating, entrants agree as follows: a) to abide by these Official Rules, and to the decisions of Sponsor and the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects; b) to the use of their names and/or likenesses and/or biographical data by Sponsor and its designees if selected as the winner for advertising, promotional and other purposes in any or all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without compensation, permission or notification (except where prohibited by law); and c) THAT SPONSOR, Shoppers Lotto, INC. d/b/a SHOPPERSLOTTO.COM AND ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION PARTNERS, RETAILERS, DISTRIBUTORS AND SUPPLIERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASED PARTIES") SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY TO AN ENTRANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE. PRIZE IS AWARDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES EXCEPT FOR ANY "IN THE BOX" WARRANTY THAT MAY BE PROVIDED WITH THE PRIZE. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, delayed, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone, computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other errors, problems or difficulties of any kind whether computer, network, human, mechanical, electronic, printing, typographical or otherwise relating to or in connection with this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors, problems or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials or for any damage to entrant's or other person's hardware or software as a result of participation. Released Parties are also not responsible for entries or mail that are illegible, lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or postage due, or garbled or delayed by computer transmissions. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by the judges will be disqualified and their entries will be void. Every submission must be manually keystroked and manually entered by the individual participant and repetitive automated electronic submission of entries is specifically disallowed. Use of automated entry software or programs is prohibited and all such entries will be void. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof and/or terminate the participation of any participant (and void his/her entry(ies)) whose conduct potentially compromises the Sweepstakes and at its sole discretion to award the prize from among all eligible non-suspect entries received prior to the act requiring such suspension or termination. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
9. Additional Terms. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. In case of dispute as to the identity of any online entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such winner is the Authorized Account Holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, its affiliates, partners and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one's ability to enter the Sweepstakes, including any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or web site. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM THE PERPETRATOR TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Use of Data. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online in accordance with its privacy policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy.
11. List of Winners. To obtain a list of winners, visit www.ShoppersLotto.com and click on the “Winners” link or send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Shopperslotto, Attn: Shopperslotto Sweepstakes Winners, 2 Lakeview Avenue, Suite 310 . Piscataway, NJ 08854.
12. Rules Modification. Sponsor reserves the right to change our sweepstakes rules at any time for any reason. Sponsor will NOT change entry rules or winner selection rules on any sweepstakes running at the time of the change.
